Who are we looking for?

Past hands-on experience in an industry with repeat sales, such as FMCG/telecom/e-commerce is a must. Previous assignments should have included sales planning, driving sales ground up. Relentless focus on execution, the ability to prioritize to utmost detail while being extremely data-driven set you apart from your peers. Demonstrated excellence in driving multi-layered teams while collaborating with multiple stakeholders and partners is expected. Through your results-driven focus, you have experience developing and executing highly impactful sales strategies; you are adept at fostering collaboration and teamwork while driving growth. Your success would be measured directly in terms of the lives we change, in line with Ninjacart’s mission statement.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage Revenue StreamsHarness the Sales Teams’ capabilities across BUs, and lead the function country-wide through various streams be it general trade, restaurant businesses, modern trade as well as chains. Set up new revenue streams for growth, in line with the business objectives
  • Sales Planning: Create weekly/monthly/quarterly sales forecasts for sales across all existing as well as new BUs, in line with the growth objectives of the business, by analyzing market trends and customer behavior. Lead periodic sales planning including territory alignment, quota setting and sales incentive design
  • Set up processes and metrics, and monitor them: Define key metrics for growth and specific measures to achieve them. Establish reporting and business review rhythms to drive visibility of the health/productivity of existing processes and identification of processes to suitable for broader adoption. Operate on data, rather than assumptions
  • Hold frontline accountability for growth: You shall be responsible for revenue growth and own the sales pipeline. Set targets for your team and aggressively drive their performance 
  • Build rockstar teams: Lead, inspire and develop teams who oversee sales ground up by identifying market opportunities and internal capabilities. Building great teams is a part of the job
  • Manage multiple stakeholders: Collaborate and closely partner with the Category, Operations, Procurement and Analytics teams to ensure successful initiatives, and daily sales operations

What you will need?|Requirements

  • Through your results-driven focus, you should have at least 5+ years of experience developing and executing highly impactful sales strategies and are adept at fostering collaboration and teamwork while driving growth

  • You enjoy the challenge of working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and are excited by the opportunity to be a strategic leader while being willing to roll up your sleeves and make a real difference in the growth and success of the company.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as stakeholder management
