At one end, we help farmers get better prices and deal with consistent demand and on another end, we help retailers to source fresh vegetables at competitive prices directly from farmers. We do this effectively at lower cost, better speed and larger scale using integrated supply chain powered by technology, data science, infrastructure, and logistics network.

 We move one 150 Tonnes of vegetables from farm to 2200+ retailers on daily basis within 12 hours in Bangalore and Chennai. We are 600 people company. We work with 3000+ farmers. We aim to grow to 1000 tonnes of daily volumes in the next 18 months.

Ninjacart aims at building the next generation supply chain that can change the way vegetables and fruits reach our plate and improve lives of India's 58% workforce i.e. farmers. The Supply chain team at ninjacart moves the produce from one store to another in less than 10 hours and ensures on-time delivery and fulfillment while keeping the cost lower. 


1. Reporting:

  • Monthly closure of books and closely monitoring & leading the accounting team

  • Compile Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss monthly

  • Drive preparation of monthly schedules

  • Drive closure of Audit and managing the Auditors

  • Support for Cash Flow Analysis

  • Work on automation projects 

  • Submit Balance Sheet variance analysis & Profit & Loss variance analysis monthly

  • Manage & Report accurate deferred tax quarterly and on an annual basis

  • Support preparation of Financial Statement for Board Meeting

2. Legal Compliance:

  • Responsible for computation of quarterly advance tax

  • Drive preparation of Income Tax return and Tax Audit

  • Review and vetting new agreements

  • Resolve Employee queries relating to personal taxation

3. Critical experience:

Required Skill-sets / Education:

  • Must be a certified Chartered Accountant (CA)

  • Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in the field of finance, preferably from an FMCG/FMCD/Startup 

  • Knowledge of Accounting Standards and their application

  • Should be excellent in Microsoft Office suite

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

  • Strong self-starter and team player with a can do attitude

  • Ability to work independently as well as a team player

  • Strong drive for results and continuous improvement

  • Ability to be versatile, efficient and Multi-tasking

  • Industry preference: Retail, FMCG, Healthcare and Consumer Durables
