Ninjacart is India's Largest agri marketing platform, solving one of the toughest supply chain problems through technology. We connect vegetables and fruits farmers directly with businesses. At one end, we help farmers get better prices and deal with consistent demand and on another end, we help retailers to source fresh vegetables at competitive prices directly from farmers. We do this effectively at lower cost, better speed and larger scale using integrated supply chain powered by technology, data science, infrastructure and logistics network.

 We move one 150 Tonnes of vegetables from farm to 2200+ retailers on daily basis within 12 hours in Bangalore and Chennai. We are 600 people company. We work with 3000+ farmers. We aim to grow to 1000 tonnes of daily volumes in next 18 months.

  • Build, train and manage a team of highly motivated Sourcing Executives across multiple collection centers in the given territory

  • Build & maintain a strong farmer pipeline for sustainable growth and ensure SKU availability for the given territory

  • Regular visit to local markets to identify sourcing regions and understand price fluctuations

  • Preparing reports detailing sourcing activities and identifying issues that need to be addressed

  • Communicating effectively and driving alignment on the mission, goals/ targets, why and how of what has to be done with Executives - Farmer Sourcing

  • Training team on relationship building skills, grievance handling & improving performance 

Required Skill-sets / Education:

  • Tier-I / Tier II college Graduate (Preferable BSc. Agri)

  • Good UG degree

  • Experience in Team handling 

  • Knowledge of local language (Telugu) is must

  • Good relationship building skills

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills with ability to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders at all levels

  • Strong business acumen and the ability to quickly learn and absorb new information

  • Problem solving skills with strong commitment to improve things every day.

  • Must have a two wheeler and should be ready to work on field
