Responsibilities
● Assist farmers in planning and managing crop production, including crop selection,
rotation, and planting schedules.
● Optimize cultivation practices for improved yield and resource efficiency.
● Conduct soil analysis to assess fertility levels and provide recommendations for soil
health improvement.
● Advise on appropriate soil management practices to enhance crop growth.
● Identify and diagnose crop diseases and pest infestations.
● Develop integrated pest management strategies and recommend appropriate control
measures.
● Provide guidance on fertilizer application based on soil nutrient content and crop
requirements.
● Recommend sustainable nutrient management practices to enhance soil fertility.
● Advise on efficient irrigation practices, considering water conservation and crop water
requirements.
● Help farmers implement suitable irrigation systems for their crops.
● Stay abreast of agricultural technologies and recommend digital tools to enhance
farming practices.
● Assist farmers in adopting and utilizing technology for precision farming.
● Collect and analyze data related to crop performance, environmental conditions, and
other relevant factors.
● Generate reports and insights to aid farmers in decision-making.
● Engage with farmers through the app to understand their needs and provide timely
support.
● Build strong relationships with users and address their inquiries professionally.
● Conduct training sessions and workshops for farmers to educate them on best
agronomic practices.
● Keep farmers informed about the latest developments and innovations in agriculture.

● B.Sc. in Agriculture with a focus on Agronomy.
● Practical experience in agronomy or related field.
● Strong knowledge of crop science, agronomic principles, and agricultural practices.
● Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with farmers.
● Proficiency in English and Tamil.
● Familiarity with modern farming technologies and tools.
● Analytical mindset for interpreting data and providing actionable recommendations.
● Knowledge of Google Sheets, Excel, and MS Office.
● Good time-management skills
● Knowledge of Crop insects, diseases, Chemical and Fertilizer
● Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
