 Responsibilities

  • Setup the credit policy framework, credit process and build proprietary risk models and scorecards.
  • Team building, taking the lead in building a high quality data-driven credit team.
  • Setting credit Risk policy, provides oversight of the credit granting process, provides guidance to the team, performance evaluation, effective monitoring and control of portfolio and its compliance and early identification of high risk accounts to minimize the loss.
  • Run multiple experiments on different customer segments and continually improve the risk framework.
  • Use alternate data to come up with new rules to reduce delinquency.
  • Come up with innovative solutions to reduce fraud and collusion risk.
  • Work closely with other teams to contribute to the overall business strategy.
  • Draft risk policies- Credit underwriting.

We are looking for an experienced Risk Analytics professional to lead the Risk Analytics vertical to be based out of our head office at Bengaluru India.


  • 7+ years of risk analytics experience ideally in the BNPL/Consumer/Retailer segment (either in banks/ NBFCs or Fintech)
  • Built new products and seen through growth cycles in the company while balancing NPAs.
  • Should have built fully automated underwriting engines at scale.
  • Should have a technology mindset to drive the right customer experience and enable collections/ risk management at scale using automated processes.
  • Should have a view of collections and feed that intelligence into risk modelling.
  • Worked closely with the product & tech teams in building data driven credit evaluation products.
  • Built relationships with key public and private stakeholders such as business partners, bureaus, & create a network of reliable business partners and other key players in the financial ecosystem.
  • Execution oriented, the ability to get things done fast.
  • Intellectual honesty - always seeking and stating truth irrespective of personal beliefs.
  • Empathetic to the customer segment & mission-oriented.
  • High sense of ownership- Personal growth and learning mindset.
  • Excellent problem solving skills - ability to think from first principles.
  • Has a good understanding of Indian market in terms of products, competitors and pricing.
  • Comfortable in a fast- paced, start-up environment.
