As a city business head, you are a mini-CEO for the city business unit with end to end responsibility. You will lead a team of 400+ strong city team to deliver strong culture and employee care, world class customer experience, growth and profitability. You will lead 5 core functions such as sales, sourcing, category management, operations and Transport

Growth: Own end to end growth and P&L of the city business unit - Drive demand, supply, PnL, Operations, logistics teams to deliver best in class customer experience and growth

Build a strong Ninjacart culture : Evangelize and build a strong Ninjacart culture and principles among internal and external stakeholders and create a strong brand by delivering on promise consistently
What we look for
Education from Tier I Engineering/MBA institutes
8–12 years of experience in sales / General Management / Category management roles
Experience in managing a P&L is strong plus
Experience in managing multi-layered operations and teams
Previous entrepreneurial stint is big plus
Must have: Strong people management, mentoring skills and team player - Need strong experience in this area
Believer of team-work (in other words must have strong leadership principles) - knows how to build a team, train them, and lead them to the right vision.
Superior analytical skills : Demonstrated ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems. In particular, identifying customer needs and inventing new ways to meet those needs. Deep understanding of customer acquisition and engagement methods and metrics
A competent decision-maker with the ability to develop, own and build a strategic plan
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability and willingness to work in ambiguity
Technology affinity and track record of employing systems to drive simplification and change
Fast learner and be comfortable working in a fast-changing startup environment.
Must be street smart and should have the ability to handle crunch situations (police cases, fire in the warehouse) effectively
