About Team

The Ninjacart technical team boasts of a varied group of professionals from different backgrounds,

including programming, design, architecture, databases, devops, security, analytics & machine learning etc. These professionals have a rich experience of numerous years in building cloud based distributed applications for organizations around the world. If there is one thing that excites our technical team, it is that unsolved problem in the agricultural sector that can benefit from a digital solution and bring about a change in many lives.

Our teams work to create what is perhaps the first and the biggest agricultural ecosystem in the world. The ecosystem, which includes the Ninjacart Commerce and Trading platforms, includes farmers, traders, millers, transporters, warehousers, and other entities who contribute to the agriculture business. In our efforts, we strive to extract that lat bit of efficiency that can help optimize costs and yet maximize returns for all players involved.

Responsibilities

12+ years of professional experience in Java-based software development for enterprise applications with Java, Microservices, Spring boot.
Strong proficiency in Java, with a focus on using Spring and Spring Boot 2.
Over 5 years of experience in developing resilient microservices.
Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs.
Proficiency in scalable distributed systems and diagnosing performance issues within these systems.
Extensive experience with relational databases, preferably MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Good understanding of at least one NoSQL database.
Familiarity with event-driven architectures and technologies like Kafka.
Ability to work effectively with diverse teams across multiple time zones.
Experience in agile environments, particularly with Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of Docker framework, deployments, and container management.
Experience in an Architect role, handling 1-2 major programs.
Experience in defining new architectures and driving projects from an architectural standpoint.
Understanding of Microservices architecture components, including containers, load balancing, and distributed cache.
